Genealogy and Mother’s Day: Decorate your family tree with stories of Mom

Mother’s Day!  What a wonderful day!

As family historians and genealogy buffs, we pay attention to the Mothers in our trees each and every day, not just on this special day, but there is no denying that today is special for Mom’s everywhere …….

So why not make it a special day for Mom’s in your family tree.  That is what I do each Mother’s Day.

Here is how I do it:

I send out a weekly Family Update each Saturday to all the members of our family genealogy website and social network that I keep on MyHeritage.com.  On Mother’s Day I delay the Update and send it on Sunday, Mother’s Day.
I ask everyone to give a simple, last minute, easy, and inexpensive Mother’s Day gift to their Mother.
