Today, in 1621, 27 Bohemian noblemen were executed as ‘payback’ for the Battle of White Mountain.
These men were executed in the public square in Prague for all to witness and as a warning to all Bohemia to give in to the Habsburgs.
Terrible things happened to Bohemia and the Bohemians for generations to come, but they stayed strong and today the Czech Republic remembers!
Long live the memory of the Bloody Sunday 27.
We thank you for your strength, courage, and belief in Bohemia!
