I am pleased to announce the next Inaugural Inductee into the Onward To Our Past Genealogy Hall of Fame Inductee.
Dr. Gregory M. Stone has been an incredible inspiration and help in my genealogy work. I came upon Dr, Stone through a mention of his doctoral dissertation, “Ethnicity, Class, and Politics Among Czechs in Cleveland, 1870-1940” is a seminal work on the early Cleveland Czech community. The quality is second-to-none and the information is exceptional on this little researched and documented immigrant group. His understanding of this community and his work surrounding it is priceless, original, and the result of years of incredibly hard work. I am fortunate indeed to have a copy of this work and to have made Dr. Stone’s acquaintance.
Dr. Stone has been a gracious support, ally, sounding board, great encourager of my efforts, and now friend.
There is no one more deserving to be in the Hall of Fame than Dr. Stone!
Special and deep thanks to this outstanding individual.
